The "Introduction to Lattice Field Theory" course, or equivalent knowledge, is a prerequisite for this course.
structure / topics / contents
- Exact chiral symmetry on the lattice, and Ginsparg-Wilson fermions.
- Gradient flow and applications to scale setting and topological charge.
- Finite-volume effects.
- QCD+QED on the lattice.
- Discussion of some interesting observables: e.g. matrix elements, HVP contribution to the muon g-2.
- Definition of EM tensor on the lattice.
